Local Lowe’s (Brown Deer, WI) was clearancing out a lot of indoor lighting 70-90% off. They had at least 5 tables as well as 3 pallets more to be added. May be national as it looks like it is a reset of the lighting section.
I picked up a 3 light fixture for the bathroom normally $84 for $16.80.

I think this is a pretty good deal, but can’t find any discussion here.
For under $500, a core duo, 1G (x1 - so you can easily through in another 1G/2G to make it 2G/3G), 160G HD - sounds pretty nice.
$100 rebate from HP - isn’t that bad.
Oh another good part - no tax in CA 
(tax only in TX, NC, IL, FL)
