Amazon deal. Can’t imagine a much-cheaper pocketable digicam with these features, if you can live with the somewhat noisy Panasonic sensor. For better or worse, it uses only 2 AA batteries, has optical image stabilization, takes SD or SDHC cards, and does not have an optical viewfinder—LCD only. Personally, I never record video on my digicams, but for those who do, be aware that this model does not have a mic—so it’s silent movies only.
