Has both DVI and analog ports, a 5ms response time, and 700:1 contrast ratio. Monitor is selling normally around $240, so this is a great deal on what appears to be a very solid display piece. CNET (7.1 / 10) - Acer AL2216W is a bare-bones LCD monitor, but it represents a good value with its low price and relatively solid performance.
Newegg (5 / 5) - I feel that you get more bang for buck in comparison to other more expensive monitors. The AL2216Wbd seems to have just as good color reproduction, and to be honest the 3ms response time difference between this and higher end monitors is only a bragging number. Your brain cant tell the difference between 5ms and 2ms response times so don’t fork out the extra cash for the 2ms response time… Its just not worth it.
Amazon (4.5 / 5) - A 22″ widescreen LCD monitor in the $300 - $350 range. Unbelieveable - you might skeptically think. Think again - this one is a great product at a great price. Mine was perfect right out of the box - no dead pixels, fast as lightning (5ms), took me more time to unpack the box then to set up the monitor. Takes almost no desk space at all - and comes with a 3 year warranty! This is most definitely one of the best deals I’ve found on anything anywhere. With a native resolution of 1680 x 1050, the picture, via a DVI connection is crystal clear and just plain beautiful!
